Preparations are in full gear here in Hong Kong and everyone is awaiting their Chinese New Year celebration. The boy and I are all packed and ready to cross the busy border into China to spend the holiday with the family. I'm anticipating copious platters of steaming traditional cuisine, wine flowing in abuandance, laughter ringing throughout the night, fire crackers popping into the early am, playful attempts at gambling, and a few festive red envelopes.
