The most complex, passionate, and fulfilling relationships often bring the most amount of torment.  To truly care you must give yourself away with the ultimate risk of heartache.  I have never been someone who puts a barrier between myself and others.  I pour my heart out easily, I trust with complete faith, and I am stupidly hopeful at the worst of times.  There are those who say this is reckless, naive, and unnecessary, but I would rather be vulnerable and love without abandon than close myself in a room without warmth.  If I am open to the possibility, the experiences will flee before me.  I can relish in the great and learn from the bad.  Anything else doesn't quite feel like living.
