The weather gods have been gracing us with dream filled blue skies and scorching heat all week, so the boy and I took the opportunity on a free Tuesday afternoon to escape to the beach. I am partial to leaving Hong Kong Island to find my favourite beaches. Lantau always feels deserted, natural, and generally more green. We watched the sunset, admired the herd of cows in the sand, and dined by candlelight. Couldn't get more relaxing.
